A person has been arrested on suspicion of killing a passenger and injuring others in a knife attack on a bullet teach in japan, police say.
The deadly stabbing passed off at approximately 22:00 nearby time (13:00 gmt) on saturday on board a shinkansen teach touring from tokyo to osaka.
Police detained the suspect after storming the carriage while the automobile stopped at odawara station.
The teach was carrying more than 800 passengers at the time of the incident.
Officials say a male passenger taken to health center with neck wounds later died from his injuries. The alternative two victims are both girls, consistent with local media.

The suspect, named as ichiro kojima, 22, changed into arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, a nearby police spokesman informed afp news agency.
